Naas Union
Naas, the county town of Kildare, is a bustling, rapidly expanding town, with people moving in from others parts of Ireland and many other countries. St. David’s Church congregation reflects the wider community, with many young families and nationalities choosing to worship there. The congregations in Kill and Rathmore are much smaller but very friendly and welcoming.

| Kill News The work regarding the provision of disabled access is making good progress at St. John’s Kill. The entrance will be dedicated at the Harvest Festival on 18th October at 3.30pm at which a special collection will be held towards subsidiary costs. The parish is very grateful to Mr Ernest Lyons for his generous funding of this project.

| Talent Scheme 2010 Jesus’ parable of the talents speaks of three servants who are given talents and asked to keep them in stewardship for their master. The Select Vestry has decided that over 2009/10 the Union will have its own talent initiative. Each household will be given a talent of money and asked to make the most of it for the benefit of the parish. It is possible to link with other parishioners for various activities and full details will be sent out towards the end of September. The presentation of Talents will take place on Easter Sunday at each church. |
